To ensure that each visitor, each group, receives a personalised guided tour. It is preferable to have only members of the same community (school class, staff, etc.), so that everyone can try out the instruments and enjoy the experience of making music together.
What can a visiting group expect?
The Leskowsky Instrument Collection offers fun, live musical tours and performances for all ages, from toddlers to seniors. During the 45-60 minute programme, participants can experience the joy of making music without any previous experience.
Students are welcome in the main exhibition spaces of the Instrument Collection. Here you can learn about the most interesting instruments through fun musical performances and interactive activities. Their knowledge of music, geography, cultural history and physics will be enriched in a fun, experimental and hands-on way.
Adult groups can learn about the world of Hungarian folk instruments through live musical instrument demonstrations, as well as about special instruments from distant cultures. Visitors will be able to hold and try out the instruments and experience the thrill of making music together.
